You can enable the Quick Launch Tool Bar and add your favorite programs to it
for easier access by right-clicking your taskbar,
clicking Toolbar's, and then clicking Quick Launch..

know...
You can move your Windows taskbar anywhere on the desktop you
like. Right-click the taskbar. If there is a check mark beside Lock
the Taskbar on the shortcut menu,
click Lock the Taskbar to unlock it. Once its unlocked click and hold the mouse button over the taskbar. Then, while
holding down the mouse button, drag the taskbar to its new location. When the taskbar is in place, release
the mouse button.
Did you
know...
By default when a new program is installed it simply adds the start menu shortcut
to the end of the start menu. This can make programs harder to find. To sort your installed programs for a neater
start menu click Start. Right click any program
folder in the menu tree and select Sort By Name.
