Many of you already know us, for those we've yet to meet, let me introduce ourselves. I'm Mary. Richard and I are your neighbors. We not only work in the community, we live here. We have over 25 years experience in computer repair and have provided service to the White County area for over 6 years.

DCS was born out of our small office at home. We didn't do a lot of advertising, most of our clients were friends and family. Then like often happens word of mouth brought us steady clients and we moved our business to Sparta. 

We take pride in our work. Customer service and your privacy are just as important to us as they are to you. We'll do our best to accomodate all your computing needs.

I have been repairing and configuring computers since 1982. When I purchased my first computer we had a choice of 2. The Apple IIe or the Commodore 64. Myself and many others wanted the Apple IIe however at 3 times the cost of the Commodore 64 which retailed at 595.00 in September of 1982 there was no contest and probably why I contiuned on with the pc rather than the MAC.  

When the world of the internet emerged after Usenet and BBS Boards we were amazed. Windows was new, computers were faster and I had my first run-in with viruses. There were very few in the 80's and they were transmitted solely by media such as floppy disks. By the early 90's Windows debuted and so did macro viruses. E-mail became the preferred delivery route, but it wasn't until 1999 when the CHI virus made itself known. CHI was considered to be one of the most harmful widely circulated viruses to date, overwriting critical system files on infected machines, and more importantly, in some cases could corrupt the system bios rendering the computer useless. So I decided to learn everything I could to prevent, remove and repair computer systems with infections. It is my speciality. Of course virus and spyware removal is not my only strong point. I have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and all computer hardware.

Richard has been building and repairing computers since 1998. He can troubleshoot most any hardware issue, device conflict, hardware setup, and networking.

Richard's speciality is Custom Built Desktop Computers and Computer case mods. He builds top of the line computers that will last many years to come.
